APTAT Assistive Technology Training Series
Training Duration: 1 hour

This session will serve as an overview of accessibility considerations as it relates to Information and Communication Technology and will encompass procedures, laws, best practices, and resources related to accessibility.

Objective:
1. Participants will be able to identify types of ICT and will learn of concerns and solutions as it relates to accessibility.
2. Participants will receive and review resources for 508 standards and WCAG 2.0 standards of universal accessibility.
3. Participants will gain an understanding of laws governing accessibility and ICT access.
4. Participants will view the process of remediation and best practices for conforming to accessibility standards.
